Election Procedures and Deadlines

The Lake Shastina Community Services District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, each elected to a four-year term.

District elections are held every two years in November on even-numbered years.  Each Board Member is elected at large for a four-year term. 

Candidates for the District Board must be registered voters and must reside within the boundaries of the Lake Shastina Community Services District.

District elections are consolidated with Siskiyou County general elections and statewide elections. The Siskiyou County Clerk (Registrar of Voters) is the Election Officer for the District and conducts the election.  Notices must be posted on times indicated by the clerk. Nomination papers may be obtained from and election questions directed to:
